Supporting Barrie & Kempenfest Since 1971

In 1971 a handful of artists gathered in Barrie at the Formosa Springs Brewery to display their art on snow fencing and hopefully sell a few pieces. It was the birth of what would eventually be called Kempenfest. Fast forward 53 years and Kempenfest is now one of the largest outdoor arts, crafts, and music festival in Ontario. 2026 promises to be the biggest and best festival ever and it is shaping up to be a fantastic celebration of reconnecting with our community of art and music lovers.

Our volunteers host you at the Kempenfest Beer Gardens and Mainstage, our biggest fundraising event of the year. After discovering the treasures offered at a huge variety of vendor’s tents by the bay you can enjoy summer at its best as you sway to the live music that drifts over the lake. Savour BBQ, pizza, or fries with a refreshing drink as you soak in the sun and dig the happy vibes from Friday, July 31 – August 3, 2026

Arts

One of the main attractions to Kempenfest are the arts and crafts exhibitors. Featuring nearly 300 jury-selected artisans.

Antiques

One of the biggest draws to Kempenfest – the annual antique show – attracting exhibitors from all over Ontario.

Concert Tickets on Sale Now

GENERAL RULES: Concerts are All Ages – Age 12 and over require tickets. VIP section is 19+ only. VIP area includes bar table service and executive washrooms. All shows are rain or shine. Pets are not permitted. No outside food or drinks permitted. Beer, coolers, wine and soft drinks available. Food service available. Lawn chairs not permitted. All bags subject to search. Venue is smoke-free.
