Excellence In Health Care Award

The Rotary Club of Barrie Health Care Award is a recognition of excellent service in the Health care field in Barrie. An ideal candidate would be a front-line health care worker who provides direct patient care and, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, has demonstrated leadership, personal care and attention, and ultimately exceptional patient care. The individual would have delivered this care beyond their normal renumeration for their Vocation. The individual will be recognized with a personal plaque and $1,000 to be used at the individual’s place of work and at their own discretion to help improve the wellness and morale of our health care providers. Vetta Nordic Spa in Horseshoe Valley will also provide the individual with 2 gift certificates for entry into the Nordic Spa which opened in 2021 and this will help the individual and their loved one to recharge, rejuvenate, and reconnect, so they can continue to provide excellent Health care service. Nominations are only accepted by members of the Rotary Club of Barrie.
