Through partnership with our Rotary Club, the City of Barrie is offering FREE Adult Swimming lessons.

Lessons will be held at the Holly Community Centre on Friday afternoons April 10 to June 12, 2015.

Lessons will be 1 hour in duration. Residents are required to contact the Holly Community Centre to sign up and secure their spot in a lesson. 24 adults per hour can participate in this new Adult Swim to Survive initiative.

Research shows that most drownings  occur close to safety. If every person in Canada could pass the Lifesaving Society Swim to Survive standard, it could reduce the number of drownings by half.

Swim skills are not innate - they need to be taught. Everyone deserves the chance to learn.
